Safer Healthcare Now! is a collaboration of people and organizations passionate about improving patient safety. We believe that safe care is a top priority and that all organizations can do big things, especially when they partner and share information, strategies, and resources.

The Canadian Patient Safety Institute is proud to promote SHN as our flagship program and to assist with the coordination, operation, and funding of SHN.  

SHN is supported by individual clinicians, teams, and healthcare organizations from across Canada that provide ongoing clinical expertise to SHN’s work, including mentorship of healthcare providers working to implement SHN interventions on the frontline.

SHN regions are located in Atlantic Canada, Ontario, Quebec, and Western Canada.
