Hand Hygiene: Patients and Families

Hand Hygiene Patients and Families

Don't just think it, say it!  Good healthcare starts with good communication!  The most important person to include in any conversation about the delivery of healthcare is the patient. When the patient is unable to advocate on his or her behalf, it is essential that we include the patient's family member or advocate in those discussions.

"Whether we call them patients, residents, clients or customers, the name is less important than the underlying principle that they must be the most important focus of the service delivery process."
