Safer Healthcare Now! established the VTE Prevention Hospital Award to recognize hospitals that have made a significant commitment to preventing VTE and have dedicated the necessary resources to achieve this goal.
The award program showcases the details of two hospitals’ improvement strategies and implementation plans. Other hospitals can use this information to enhance their efforts to prevent VTE and its potentially fatal complications.
