SHN Mentor Network

The SHN mentor provides support, advice, shared clinical expertise, and implementation strategies. Mentors enhance the capacity of healthcare teams to successfully implement interventions through support and advice and shared learning.

You may need a mentor if your team is:

• New to SHN
• New to an intervention
• Struggling with process improvements to support embedding an intervention in practice
• Challenged with SHN measures
• Having difficulty reaching your goal

SHN identifies and approaches potential mentors to see if they are interested in participating.  

Finding a Mentor

• Review the mentor profiles available on the Community of Practice.
• Choose a mentor organization you feel can help you achieve your goals.
• Email the intervention contact listed on the mentor profile.
• Upon confirming the mentor’s availability, the intervention contact will connect you with the mentor organization.
